Could you be the full-time Cloud & Compute Operations Specialist in our IS&T / Technology & Security team we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive IT and cloud expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.
You'll lead the charge in ensuring effective Cloud & Compute services delivery to Alstom Transport business. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with service providers, IT functional areas, and business partners, coordinating the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of our infrastructure, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of planning and maintenance for Compute & Cloud hosting services across the organization, but also lead the resolution of major infrastructure problems.
We’ll look to you for:
Effective coordination with suppliers for all infrastructure operations
Accountability for transverse/security services in Alstom Transport IS&T infrastructure
Strategic planning and maintenance of Compute & Cloud hosting services
Development of creative solutions through business and technical awareness
Leadership in major problem resolution and system performance management
Collaboration with business partners to prioritize projects and develop system plans
Ensuring adherence to disaster recovery and business continuity policies
Driving efficiency and reducing operating costs of the Infrastructure

Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology
7+years of Experience or understanding of IT infrastructure technology and operations delivery
Knowledge of ITIL/Infra Operations processes and frameworks
Familiarity with Cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure
An ITIL certification
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
Experience with datacenter and cloud urbanization, hyperconverged solutions, and virtualization technologies
