Technical Operations Supervisor

**DESCRIPTION**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supervise technicians in Laboratory, Drafting/Product Configuration, Functional Excellence, or Engineering IT environments.
+ Understand internal customer requirements and allocate resources accordingly.
+ Manage lab routine operations activities.
+ Assign test requests within the team based on priority and bandwidth.
+ Maintain all Lab KPIs.
+ Manage lab operational expenses and drive cost-saving (WIN) projects.
+ Connect with stakeholders and manage priorities.
+ Oversee capital expenses and new capability development.
+ Support various business units on new developments.
+ Collaborate with global teams.
+ Drive continuous improvements through Kaizen and Six Sigma tools.
+ Lead Operational Excellence and Functional Excellence initiatives.
+ Engage and support team members for failure analysis/root cause analysis.
+ Comply with and sustain all HSE requirements.
+ Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for teams.
+ Drive and support recognition within the team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Qualifications:**
+ BE/B. Tech in Metallurgy & Material Science.
+ Post-graduation is optional.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Skills and Experience:**
+ Good understanding and application of Cummins basic processes like CQMS, QSI, MOC, HIRA, Aspect Impact, PR/PO, NPDN, and LWRF processes.
+ Good knowledge of metallurgical testing and various material characterization techniques.
+ Well-versed in failure analysis methodology.
+ Good understanding of various metal-making processes, heat treatments, and materials.
+ Ability to analyze and interpret results.
+ Awareness of ISO 9001 and ISO IEC 17025 standards.
+ Awareness of engine components functioning.
+ Basic understanding of financial aspects.
+ 10-15 years of experience.
+ Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
