What will you be doing?
The Sr. Consulting Systems Engineer (Sr. CSE) role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our customers within the local market and as needed for India / Global customers on a need basis. Day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work among others. The Sr. CSE will team with local Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of the cutting-edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25-50%
Responsibilities-
• Technical Pre-Sales and systems engineering supporting AI related infrastructure and solution campaigns and pursuit
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs and use cases aligned to WWT GTM
• Aligned to one or more set of accounts as a Sr. CSE, will act as a SPOC to identify and map various technical stakeholders in the account, establish business relationships, keep the tech/solution heat maps and other documentation updated at all times
• Serve as the technical liaison to all supported client as PCSE (for assigned accounts) and SCSE (for assigned domains) and align your efforts and activities to identify pain points, and proactively create unsolicited solution proposals and/or respond to RFP / RFI as needed
Create Level of Effort Documents, participate in proof of concepts (POC/POV), create and validate Solution Bill of Materials, assist in generating Statements of Work
• Create HLD and relevant architecture as per the solution / BOQ requirements
• Attend business appointments with Account teams as and when needed
• Estimate labor hours for Professional Services work as and when needed
• Works with clients and WWT Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities including but not limited to participating in Account Planning Sessions
• Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals
• Manages and aligns his activities in order to achieve a targeted gross profit number for identified opportunities
• While not aligned as PCSE, support other accounts in the region/country/Global as may be asked in sharing and progressing the opportunity in your domain of expertise
• Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and partners (internal as well as external) in country / region and/or territory
• Utilize OEM process and tools to do deal registrations, create an optimized BOQ, perform BOM validations in line with solution requirement, able to work with OEM / partners to demonstrate and defend the proposed solutions (objection handling)
• Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
• When not busy with AI specific opportunities, support and deliver for the DC Infra / Hybrid Cloud related opportunities as a CSE
