You would be tasked with helping to develop, build and manage complex clinical product initiatives.
The Principal Clinical Program Pharmacist is responsible for implementing clinical program strategy through the development of clinical product(s). This role is responsible for keeping the product(s) competitive by understanding market problems, executing the product roadmap, evaluating data for quality and content, and maintaining clinical criteria. The role requires routine interaction with leadership regarding the product strategy and must collaborate with other departments including IT to ensure the strategy is executed as established.
Responsibilities
Understand, develop, build and manage complex clinical product initiatives including clinical criteria and associated data analysisGather, analyze, and synthesize market information, clinical guidelines and member claims data to support clinical product management initiatives, products and strategiesAnalyze and synthesize internal clinical program data, to support product enhancement.Coordinate, launch and implement new products, product enhancements, and process improvements across the product; understand and anticipated the impact on stakeholdersRepresent the Clinical department as a strategic partner during customer requirement gathering sessionsValidate the clinical and data accuracy of clinical programs including performance of user acceptance testing of applications and programs Establish and maintain cross-functional partnerships with peers and leaders to drive informed decisions and successful execution of initiativesMay be required to collaborate and interact with client partnersOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy DegreeCurrent pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy3 years of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical and/or managed care setting, including at least 2 years of work experience in a clinical and/or managed care settingMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
Microsoft Excel and Word proficiencyProven experience working in regulated environmentAbility to work in ambiguous role with undefined parametersExceptional relationship and communication skills; excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and qualityAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously under pressure with strict timelinesAbility to develop process efficienciesAbility to work well in team environmentPreferred Qualifications

Reports to Clinical Program Development DirectorPotential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
