Responsibilities:

The Opta Graphics Technical Producer will be part of a small team playing a key role in contributing to the development of the Opta Graphics Platform .

We are looking for someone with experience or an interest in projects related to data and its analysis. We ideally want someone who is passionate about sports and sports data as this will be the main part of the role. The team is pushing the boundaries of live data in visual content. The platforms clients are major sporting brands around the world.

You will be responsible for…

Using a primarily WYSIWYG editor to develop PSD designs from sports brands into the Opta Graphics Platform to be used by social teams around the world. Bug check and test all assets produced for a better team and customer experience and to ensure that graphics render accurately. Be an active member of the team feeding back experiences on the platform to continually progress the performance Collaborate with developers, designers, and content producers on ideas for digital designs that improve the customer journey and drive conversions. Proactively communicate with all members of the project teams, using the appropriate tools to ensure challenges are solved early and any blockers are identified quickly, as well as ensuring progress is monitored. Perform quality assurance on your own and other developers’ projects to the highest standard. Be an active part of any concepting or creative brainstorm sessions. Prototype new solutions to aid creativity or prove viability.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with Javascript frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS and React would be beneficial but is not a requirement of the role. An understanding of CSS An understanding of JSON Familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe packages
