Technical Product Manager, Marketing Data

The Databricks Marketing team is opening a new role to help unlock new revenue opportunities by utilizing the power of our own product to unlock new go-to-market opportunities. You'll be expected to understand the key technologies that drive our systems and product interactions to guide product adoption and work cross-functionally with business and engineering stakeholders. In order to do that, you should be comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop product requirements, technical design documents, and related documentation to define technical solutions to business challenges clearly. You will be accountable for delivering data products and capabilities on Databricks Platform supporting various marketing capabilities. This role, reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Data & Analytics will be highly cross-functional, working with partners across GTM jointly driving analysis and strategy.

The impact you will have:

Leverage Databricks' product capabilities to identify and unlock new go-to-market opportunities and revenue streams within our database.  Develop a deep understanding of key technologies driving our systems and product interactions to guide engagement strategies. Develop comprehensive product requirements, technical design documents, and related documentation to clearly define technical solutions for business challenges. Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for marketing data and analytics initiatives, balancing new functionality with technical debt management. Own our Customer Zero initiative in Marketing - delivering data products and capabilities on the Databricks Platform that support scaled, personalized experiences. Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization, including the Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Product teams, to drive joint analysis and strategy.  Regularly communicate roadmap progress and adjustments to senior leadership and key stakeholders around key performance indicators (KPIs). 

What we look for:

8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager with at least 3+ years of domain experience in marketing data. Should have a strong understanding of customer profile segmentation in CDP’s for further analytical processing. Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations Experienced in working with modern data warehouses. Experienced in working in cross-functional environments.
