You Are:

UST is searching for a Technical Product Manager who will take complete ownership of the software product, including both the technical and functional roadmap.

 

The opportunity:

·       Advocate a customer-centric approach, effectively representing the voice of the customer to guide technology and resource investments.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact and intake for the product development team.

·       Collaborate with key development and business stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog.

·       Lead product grooming and sprint planning sessions in collaboration with the engineering team.

·       Manage capacity and resource planning to optimize product development and delivery.

·       Clearly articulate product scope, ROI, and benefits to stakeholders and business teams.

·       Work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to plan and execute successful product releases.

·       Align multiple domains (both technical and non-technical) to a common vision, providing clear communication of product details to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Actively engage in the team's support channels, assisting and addressing stakeholder questions.

·       Leverage understanding of technology trends to determine how platform and architecture decisions impact product roadmaps and user experience.

·       Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and technology managed by the team.

·       Hybrid-In office/remote

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline). An advanced degree is advantageous but not required.

·       Previous experience of 8+ years in a product management role or similar capacity within the technology industry.

·       Proven expertise in product management, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex products.

·       Strong understanding of SDLC practices and web-based application development technologies.

·       Good understanding of Web/API development using Java or NodeJS.

·       Exceptional customer focus with a track record of successfully incorporating customer feedback into product strategies.

·       Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

·       Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

·       Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and addressing challenges creatively.

·       Understanding of technology trends and best practices within the industry.

·       Proficiency in project and product management tools and methodologies.

·       Prior development experience is an added advantage.

                                                                       

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Washington

Compensation Range:   $104,000-$156,000

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
