Position Overview:
As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in translating various regulatory and compliance (RaC) requirements into actionable product features for our software development teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze, document, and refine high-level requirements, ensuring they are well-defined for engineering teams to implement.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the healthcare software space, particularly in understanding how regulatory guidelines impact software design and development. You will also engage with our Agile processes, contributing to various ceremonies and maintaining a strong focus on defining stories.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to analyze high-level regulatory and compliance requirements for mandated features, as well as maintenance for our existing RaC & RaC-adjacent features. Convert requirements into clearly-defined & detailed user stories & own them through their lifecycle, ensuring clarity in scope, technical feasibility, and acceptance criteria. Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure maintaining alignment between product and engineering teams Define/document JIRA Epics and stories to drive delivery against requirements as well as track/manage delivery of key capabilities or features. Continued maintenance of your personal RaC knowledge base with participation in webinars, workshops, and other learning tools to support product decisions.Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess/illustrate: 3+ years of Healthcare IT/tech experience. Working knowledge of healthcare, healthcare technology, or compliance is strongly preferred. Experience supporting Regulatory and compliance (RaC) initiatives such as 21st Century Cures, Quality (MIPS/MVP) Program and/or HTI-1 initiatives would make you stand out. Experience with the ModMed EMA product is a plus. Strong comprehension & analytical skills with a keen attention to organizational, written detail & problem-solving skills. Confidence in their analysis and decisions and be comfortable speaking up/out to advocate for their decisions and thus drive feature accuracy. The ability to collaborate & independently drive meetings with external stakeholders as well as various departments and roles within the organization including software engineering, product management, legal, UX team. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe) is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Jira & Confluence, as well as a strong working knowledge of Google Suite.
