The Technical Product Owner Product Trial Experience Role

 

The Technical Product Owner will lead the systems design, delivery, and technical success of our end-to-end trials solution to achieve business objectives.   

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management focused on the translation of business objectives to effectively engage with technical build teams across the entire organization.  This candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable enterprise solutions to bridge end to end solutions from Marketing through CRM, SaaS based product offerings and eventual ERP and reporting integrations.

Product Leadership 

Define and own the technical product vision, roadmap, and success criteria for the trials initiative. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and technical details. Serve as the primary advocate for the technical excellence and success of the trials solution within the organization. 

Solution Architecture 

Partner with technical teams to design and oversee the end-to-end architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration. Drive integration efforts across website, marketing platforms, Salesforce, entitlement systems, ERP, Pendo and other systems. Validate technical feasibility and ensure adherence to architectural best practices. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Work closely with development teams, marketing, sales, product, and IT to deliver a cohesive solution. Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring successful software delivery and execution of business requirements.  

Delivery Management 

Define and maintain project KPIs, ensuring transparency and data-driven insights into the trials initiative’s performance. Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery. Address challenges and risks proactively to keep the initiative on track. 

 

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Optimization & Expansion Continuously evaluate the system’s performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Drive decisions on future enhancements and scalability to meet evolving business needs.  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Conversion rates from trial to paid customers. System reliability and uptime across integrations. Time-to-provision for trial setups. Customer satisfaction and engagement during trials (e.g., Pendo metrics). Insights delivered through dashboards to guide business decisions.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environment. Prior experience leading a trials or customer onboarding initiative is highly desirable. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce (Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud), marketing automation tools (Marketo, LeanData), Node.js applications, and integrations with ERP and entitlement systems. Project Management: Proven track record of managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and department leaders at the enterprise level. Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze KPIs to drive product decisions. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Visionary thinking, capable of identifying future technical trends and integrating them into current projects.  Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.  Certifications: Salesforce certifications, Agile Product Owner certifications, or equivalent experience is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 144,580.00 USD MIN – $180,000.00 USDMAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
