Description The AWS ADC Security Engineering team is seeking a technical project manager (TPM) who can take on a leadership role in our incident response mission supporting our National Security programs. In this role, you will join a growing team of security and systems engineers who are helping to protect the AWS infrastructure that is used by our national security customers. In this role, you will use a blend of technical knowledge, security fundamentals, and program management to solve security-related challenges that are often not well-defined, working across several organizations to develop our team's programs and strategies. You will use your great communication skills to effectively communicate with and influence customers, engineers, senior leaders, and other stakeholders. Additionally, as a TPM on our team, you will be involved in the decision-making process at various levels to ensure that we are meeting requirements, simplifying business processes, and overall raising the security bar for our customers. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of technical product or program management experience - 2+ years of software development experience - 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
