Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with a strong background in reliability testing, particularly in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with electrical skills, hardware, and chamber testing, including vacuum chambers and atomic chambers. This role involves testing at the spacecraft level and is situated between new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing. Candidates with a design and test background are preferred over those from a manufacturing background.
ResponsibilitiesLead an engineering team through testing and reliability processes.Develop and manage program plans and schedules.Create structure and organization within dynamic and sometimes chaotic environments.Perform reliability testing using vacuum chambers, atomic chambers, and HAAS equipment.Conduct hardware and electrical tests at the spacecraft level.Essential SkillsExperience with HAAS and hardware testing.Proficiency in reliability testing and camera systems.Strong understanding of system engineering principles.Ability to lead engineering teams.Experience in creating program plans and schedules.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in aerospace industry preferred.Experience working with vacuum chambers and atomic chambers.Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt to changing priorities.Work Environment
The candidate will need to work between Redmond sites and the Kirkland factory, requiring in-person meetings. The work environment is dynamic with frequently changing gears and priorities. Candidates must be comfortable with this fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment. Note that parking at the Kirkland location can be challenging.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $88.00/hr.
