Amazon is looking for a highly motivated Technical Program Manager with strong insight and passion for security to ensure our infrastructure technologies are designed and built to the highest standards. The successful candidate will build the bridges between a highly technical information security group and Amazon’s platform, application, and 3rd party entities. The successful candidate is a technical security professional who can dive deep into complex designs and architectures and map technical features and IT processes to Amazon’s security requirements.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage effective communications with senior-level stakeholders such as project delivery teams, infrastructure custodians, application development teams, internal information security teams, 3rd party vendors, etc.
- Drive cross-team efforts, define well-considered objectives and metrics, and collect and analyze data to guide decision-making and affect change
- Support process improvement, security platform development, and control implementation projects in coordination with the partner project and information security teams
- Maintain and communicate the team’s progress report, program metrics, project and operational risk matrices, deliverable timelines, project dependencies, etc.
- Liaise between the information security team and the main project teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Assist project stakeholders in meeting security design and architecture requirements and communicate residual risk status to the appropriate party

About the team
The Platform Security Team is responsible for designing and building preventative solutions for Amazon platforms and major projects. We focus our efforts in the Network and Edge spaces to protect Customer data while empowering our Amazon builder teams to innovate using secured platforms and networks. The Platform SecurityTeam is comprised of an accomplished security engineering core with a mandate to define and implement solutions that impact applications at the scale of Amazon.
