Title and Summary
Technical Program Manager IIOverview:Mastercard seeks a Technical Program Manager II who will be an essential contributor to the success of complex projects and programs. This position requires strong negotiation, planning, and documentation skills, while managing multiple priorities across diverse teams. Responsibilities include assisting in facilitating negotiations, driving task prioritization, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Your collaborative approach will foster teamwork and alignment, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Role:
• Assist in managing the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines budget constraints, and technical goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and drive consensus across cross-functional teams using effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Help create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful execution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and manage multiple priorities, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals. Assist in prioritization discussions to focus on critical tasks.
• Act as a facilitator in team meetings and decision-making processes, ensuring all voices are heard and the team remains aligned on objectives.
• Help identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle, contribute to developing mitigation strategies, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
• Serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and ensuring all parties remain informed and engaged.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
All About You:
• Experience in program management, particularly in technology-driven environments.
• Experience managing and delivering complex technical programs.
• Background in planning, documentation, and risk management.
• Experience in facilitating negotiations and driving prioritization across multiple teams.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Proficient in tracking and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to negotiate with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proactive problem-solver with a focus on identifying solutions and driving them to implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
