BC forward is currently seeking an initiative to take Technical Program Manager III for Burlingame CA / Redmond WA Location.

Position Title: Technical Program Manager III

Location: Burlingame CA / Redmond WA (Onsite maybe 3 days)

Anticipated Start Date: Jan 26th

Expected Duration: 13+ Months Contract (Possibility of getting an extension)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $70/hr. to Max $80/HR W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

This role will be responsible for developing and reporting progress on data collection initiatives required to build ML and AI pipelines as part of Client's product go-to market strategy.

Responsibilities

Partnering with research leads to set goals, direction, and strategy for development of applications and data pipelines. translating that into goals, team schedules, and strategy in partnership with key team leaders. Setting and maintaining expectations. Ensuring the project has a unified clear vision, understood goals, and expectations of progress. Keeping partners and stakeholders informed and involved. Being able to represent your program at a deep level throughout the org, to be able to build the appropriate communication channels both within and outside the team. Ensuring work is adequately scoped for the resources and time available. Effectively escalating or resolving resourcing issues to accomplish the team's mission. Keeping the project unblocked and effective. Identifying blockers and working with the project team to resolve or escalate for help. Iterative process improvements. Leverage the least amount of process to accomplish the goal. Ask, "Is there a better way. Evaluate retrospectives to add, adjust, and remove processes based on learnings. Bringing software domain experience that enables better project outcomes by leveraging knowledge of that domain to ask the right questions, making suggestions on next steps, and push the project in the right direction.

Must have

AR/VR background is Solid for consideration Engineering operations (working on prototype systems still in operations) Experience with system development and integration (problem solving) -Motion capture/film development, Robotic systems Resource/Asset utilization experience (Hands on experience) Data gathering Experience Stakeholder management experience (Vendors) MBA, with engineering background (Comp science/engineering) 4+ years minimum without MBA

Nice to have

PMP-Highly preferred Lean six sigma Microsoft (HoloLens group), Google glasses team (data collection specifically)
