Technical Program Manager - Patient Access & Affordability (Hybrid)

Job Description

Our Patient Access and Affordability team, part of the Value Team of Market Access and Revenue Management (MARM) in the Human Health IT Division, plays a vital role in our mission to increase access to products for patients, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and underserved populations. We are dedicated to ensuring that patients can access the treatments and medications they need while effectively managing the financial aspects of their healthcare journey.

Are you ready to swing into action like Miles Morales? As the IT Program Manager for Patient Access and Affordability, you will be the glue that holds together our initiatives, driving collaboration across the entire patient journey. We are seeking a superhero like Miles Morales, who possesses the superpower to weave together and supercharge the Patient Journey end-to-end, with an innovative vision that allows them to see challenges and opportunities through a transformative lens. Your ability to adapt and energize change will be key in focusing on Patient Access, Affordability, Health Equity, Activation, and New Initiatives.

Value We Want to Create:

This opportunity explores high-priority initiatives and promising proof-of-concepts. These initiatives have the potential to revolutionize the patient journey from end to end, focusing strongly on patient access and affordability. By productizing health equity and patient activation efforts, you will help assess, develop, and innovate new products that align with our strategic priorities.

You will help drive the initiative to centralize our data by creating a unified data domain. Your efforts will provide deeper insights into patient access and affordability, driving better decision-making and evolving the our Company Access program.

Our goal is to evolve and scale the Financial Patient Programs using our digital platform to address critical access and affordability challenges, particularly in high-priority countries. In regions like Asia Pacific, where around 90% of patients cannot afford life-saving treatments, your leadership will be essential in increasing access and advancing our commercial capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Manage program delivery for the Patient Access and Affordability product line, ensuring alignment with business objectives and improved patient outcomes.

Identify and resolve obstacles encountered during project delivery.

Promote continuous improvement within the delivery team.

Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Identify, mitigate, and manage risks related to program delivery, especially those impacting patient care and access.

Support resource allocation, ensuring effective utilization and resolving any conflicts.

Required Experience and Skills:

A university degree (BA minimum) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Marketing or related fields with a strong technical component.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
