Technical project management - Sr. Professional I

What does a successful Project Manager do? 

As a Project Manager at Fiserv, you play a pivotal role in ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. You will have the opportunity to work with internal resources and external customers, building relationships across all functional areas. Your role within Professional Services involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring scope to ensure the successful startup and completion of projects, typically impacting a single business unit or functional area.

What you will do:

Take projects from original concept through final implementation by collaborating with internal resources and external customers.Define scope and project objectives, interfacing with all areas affected by the project.Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports to ensure project tracking and analysis.Conduct and document internal and external project meetings, maintaining a project schedule that includes overall project timelines, milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, task dependencies, and critical paths.Collaborate with other project managers and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts, and dependencies.Prepare and conduct presentations, author comprehensive scope, and solutions documents with technical resource input.Manage the change control process and consistently evaluate project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by monitoring project progress.Respond to occasional off-hour work requests in the event of emergency client incidents or critical business needs.

What you will need to have:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent military experience.5+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies.5+ years of experience in managing cross-functional projects.5+ years of professional experience with Project Management tools including MS Project.5+ years of experience in consulting roles.

What would be great to have:

5+ years of experience working in the Information Technology and/or Financial industry.Experience with mobile banking and payment processing.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
