SpartanNash Associates, LLC seeks a full-time Technical Project Manager, RPA. May telecommute within commuting distance of the Byron Center, MI or Norfolk, VA offices.
Duties: Responsible for driving the automation of processes through the use of SpartanNash’s Automation Anywhere platform. The Technical Project Manager, RPA controls project scope and ensures projects are delivered within budget and timeline and develops KPIs and metrics to measure RPA delivery efficiency and effectiveness as well as delivery throughput. The Technical Project Manager, RPA is responsible for building up the organizational capability in RPA, including developing business use cases, generating a demand backlog and managing the delivery of RPA solutions through both in-house and outsourced resources; and building a sustainable long-term capability that drives a virtuous cycle of business savings and value through the elimination of time-consuming repetitive tasks. Furthermore, the Technical Project Manager, RPA has overall accountability for the RPA delivery within SpartanNash; Lifecycle management of RPA from ideation to solution delivery to ongoing maintenance and support; developing a long-term strategy and roadmap for RPA; working with RPA consultants and internal resources to develop viable use cases for RPA and build a pipeline of demand for RPA; evaluating user requests for business process automation to determine feasibility, ROI and technical requirements; engaging with business leadership and calibrating expectations, aligning on delivery and business benefits; managing a project intake process and executing the project life cycle, including planning and scope definition, effort estimation, design, development, integration testing, user-acceptance testing, production and support transition; working with the PMO organization to define delivery patterns and different project / delivery paths depending on the size and complexity of the patterns; developing the RPA delivery function and building a technical delivery model that incorporates an agile delivery methodology; managing a repeatable delivery process that breaks projects into user stories and translating into executable sprints; and implementing delivery governance including how estimates are done, integration testing guidelines, user-acceptance test guidelines and release management. Requires 5% domestic travel for in-person meetings, training, and conferences.
Minimum Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and ten (10) years related (progressive, postbaccalaureate) experience. Must also have 48 months of experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Requires 5% domestic travel for in-person meetings, training, and conferences. May telecommute within commuting distance of the Byron Center, MI or Norfolk, VA offices. HQ located at Byron Center, MI.
