Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD
The Technical Project Manager position will provide functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
Knowledgeable of all the computer based tools for project management.Collaborate with Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods. Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project.Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data.Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures.Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests.Perform other tasks as required. Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support missions up to 10%. Minimum Qualifications:
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
A minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.A minimum of five (5) years management and supervision of substantive military hardware/software development.A minimum of five (5) years systems analysis. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management, OR an Associates degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience, OR twenty (20) total years of recent specialized experience.
