Position: Project Manager
Reports To: Manager of Project Management
Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be the linchpin of project success, steering complex projects from conception to completion. Your strategic vision will guide multidisciplinary teams through the intricacies of project execution, ensuring that each milestone is met with precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring that each phase aligns with the overarching business goals and objectives for simple and complex projects
Team Leadership: Cultivate a dynamic team environment, providing mentorship and support to project members, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as applications, engineering, procurement, purchasing, manufacturing and field service
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering regular updates and nurturing a relationship built on transparency and trust
Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints and timelines
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate impact on project delivery
Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality, adhering to industry best practices and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations
Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of project management processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
Support: project report outs through presentations, effective project management tools such as project schedule, excel, meeting minutes and RAIL
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
5-7 years of project management experience with a university degree or an advanced degree and progressive experience
Background in food and beverage or automation space ideally with an engineering foundation
Proven experience leading both internal and external projects with some field experience, coordinating multiple subcontractors to ensure project success
Familiarity with conveyors, material handling systems, palletizers, depalletizers, logistics is highly desirable
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to meet project requirements and team coordination needs.
