What you’ll do:

OCS Tech team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting infrastructure cloud solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle IaaS and PaaS services.

As a Consulting Project Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing knowledge in Oracle technology to achieve customer success.  This may include the facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations, demonstration and benchmarks, and provision of support throughout the customer life cycle.

You will show how customers can drive innovation and succeed in their Digital transformation initiatives, leveraging the power of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).

You will work with Oracle Consulting sales and delivery colleagues to position and deliver the right technology and consulting services to maximize customer’s success in the most effective and efficient manner.

You will lead our large customers through all phases of the implementation project lifecycle.

Whether we are talking about a customer exploring Oracle for the first time, a customer wanting to migrate an on-premises workload to Oracle or a customer ready to extend their existing Oracle footprint you will play an instrumental role in consulting and ensuring their success by presenting solutions that adhere to Oracle and Industry specific best practices. 

Main Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-impact Oracle consulting engagements, ensuring successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and business growth. Your role will involve:

Leading Oracle Consulting Engagements: Overseeing the full project lifecycle, tracking progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while meeting financial and customer satisfaction goals. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to influence decision-making at the leadership level. Project Planning & Execution: Developing comprehensive Project Plans that define scope, key deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and quality assurance in alignment with Oracle’s best practices. Collaboration Across Teams: Working closely with Oracle consulting, licensing, and cloud sales teams to align project objectives with broader business strategies. Business Growth & Opportunity Identification: Identifying new opportunities for customer growth and digital transformation, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and Oracle's cloud offerings. Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization: Leading initiatives to modernize customer applications and infrastructures, leveraging Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions and other cloud technologies. Stakeholder Communication & Expectation Management: Ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations by maintaining clear and transparent communication with all stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Driving best practices, innovation, and process optimization to enhance project delivery efficiency and customer success.

Required Skills/Experience

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Technical Project Manager with a passion for cloud solutions and a results-driven mindset. Your expertise, leadership, and "can-do" approach will be instrumental in delivering successful projects with professionalism and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology). Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience leading technical projects, ideally involving Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions (such as OIC, OAC, APEX) or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Cloud & DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and modern DevOps practices in cloud projects. Project Management Best Practices: Strong ability to apply solid project management principles to successfully oversee projects of increasing complexity. Stakeholder Management: Proven experience engaging with senior managers and executives, effectively communicating technical roadmaps, risks, and business impacts. Leadership & Team Collaboration: Ability to motivate, coach, and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and successful project execution. Customer-Centric Approach: High level of customer focus, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to present, communicate, and articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Advantages:

Oracle Applications Expertise: A functional background or familiarity with at least one major Oracle Application, along with a solid understanding of Oracle’s Applications portfolio, is a strong advantage. Oracle Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions such as OIC, APEX, VBCS, OAC, or similar technologies will be highly beneficial. Experience with identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within existing customer accounts, leading the opportunity from the pre-sales phase through to successful closure. Professional Certifications: Holding a PMI-PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent project management certification is a plus, demonstrating expertise in structured project management methodologies.
