Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join one of our Asset Management/Private Equity clients for a one year contract with likely extensions. It is required that this person work onsite to El Segundo, CA 3-4 days per week. This client is currently in the process of building two new engineering groups that will support two of the core businesses; Treasury and Business Management and Alternative Investments within their Fixed Income space. This TPM will support the product analysts/owners and work alongside them to strategically structure the work and manage the plans. You will work closely with software engineers as they continuously develop new features for treasury applications and products. These products are related to Treasury (cash management, liquidity, automation of making decisions etc). Strong business acumen in necessary as this person will working will interact and liaison with both sides of the house. It is imperative that this person have previous experience working with financial services industry and a general understanding on features of specific products, Capital Markets, basic accounting, liquidity, Fixed Income Instruments etc. Key responsibilities include:
- Have deep understanding of the key products they are building, help to create project plans, status reporting, etc
-Working within Jira
-Set expectations, realistic targets and help to hold teams accountable.
- Be in the weeds making sure product road maps are well managed

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Project Manager
Ability to write/refining user stories, backlog
Experience working in financial industry - general understanding on features of specific products, Capital Markets, basic accounting, liquidity, Fixed Income Instruments
Experience working in an agile environment
Experience with Kanban or Scrum Exposure or experience working with SAFe framework null
