Summary You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Responsibilities You will manage cross-functional project teams by collaborating closely with multiple competency areas to ensure effective communication, coordination, and optimal alignment of resources for successful project execution. You will oversee technical projects from initiation through completion, emphasizing agility and adaptability to meet project goals. You will work with stakeholders to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing detailed project plans that include timelines, resource needs, and budget considerations. You will conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability and alignment with strategic objectives. You will assemble project teams, assign tasks, and provide guidance and support throughout each project's lifecycle. You will monitor project expenditures and resource utilization, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and financial goals. You will will identify resource requirements and apply cost-saving measures to maximize project efficiency and return on investment (ROI). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS 11-12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and evaluative methods to oversee the development and management of administrative and organization operational functions in the execution of strategic business operations. Education Additional Information You will serve as TPM for one of the following sponsors/programs; (a) Zumwalt Integrated Combat System & Conventional Prompt Strike, (b) Atalanta Combat Systems, (c) United States Coast Guard and United States Marine Corps, (d) Command and Control (sensor netting), (e) Integrated Warfare Systems Engineering (Interoperability) & Maritime Theater Missile Defense, (f) Terminal Defense Systems, (g) Cyber Engineering & Digital Transformation and (h) Emergent Work. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
