Technical Project Manager
What You Will Do:Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Developer to join our IT Team in Hartford, CT! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring occassional attendance at our Hartford, CT office.  What you’ll be challenged to do:

The Architecture-Engineering-Construction (AEC) industry faces unparalleled, but very exciting, challenges based on the fascinating technology we now employ, the long-term growth that the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) represents for our industry, and the rapid changes to our workforce. The position works as part of our successful Program Management Office while supporting our enterprise application solutioning program to gather requirements, design, develop test, and implement solutions to maximize efficiency for business workflows and our firm’s overall business model.  This position will interact with various project stakeholders, and the diverse work employing innovative technology will result in meaningful contributions to not simply our firm, but major sustainability and infrastructure programs.

 In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Develops and manages projects from start to finish Leads technical design, testing, implementation for a variety of applications and integrationsLeads defining functional requirementsLeads the translation of requirements to a technical designMeets regularly and builds strong relationship with team, business users, and stakeholdersAssesses business impacts and develops value propositionsAssists business analysts in documenting business processes and developing technical requirementsResearch, prototypes, and recommends technology for solutionsFollows best practices in creation of code and data structuresParticipates in the on-going support of existing applications and processesProvides support and integration functionality for third party applications where applicableEducation | Experience:What you will bring to our firm: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experienceProficiency with SQL Server and related technologiesProficiency with C#, .NET 4+, .NET Core, MVC, Entity FrameworkProficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/Bootstrap, and SPA frameworksFamiliarity with Azure Cloud technologies Experience using Agile Development (SCRUM) and bug/issue tracking software such as Azure DevOpsExperience using a version control system such as GitAbility to manage project, daily tasks, and business user requirements effectivelyExperience with business analytical software such as Power BI, SAS, SSRS, etc. What we prefer you bring: Experience with Microsoft Power PlatformExperience with a variety of development technologiesProven experience in innovativeness, ability to integrate disparate products Compensation:The range for this position is salary range is $150,000 - $180,000.
