Job Description

We are seeking an innovative Technical Project Manager (TPM) who will be primarily responsible for scoping and delivering projects related to data capture and organization from industrial control and automation systems for a high-end line of robotic pharmacy distribution systems. This role involves working with cross-functional teams in data management, software, controls, and mechanical engineering.

ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact between the hardware development team and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Metrics team within a new product development context.Facilitate the sharing of necessary data with the offshore team and organize daily meetings for effective communication.Evaluate critical metrics that influence machine-level OEE to promote enhancements in product operations.Maintain comprehensive documentation of project advancements and collaborate effectively with the project manager.Oversee the preparation of weekly and monthly status reports while coordinating resources from both internal and external team members as required.Essential SkillsProject managementMicrosoft ProjectAzureSiemens TIA PortalRockwell AutomationIoT SensorsSCADAData analyticsNew product developmentData AnalysisData Acquisition ToolsProtocolsPMP certificationCertified Scrum MasterAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering – Mechanical, Mechatronics, or other relevant fields.7+ years of experience in product development.5+ years of experience managing projects through execution.Experience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), data analytics implementation, and analysis in new product development.Understanding of manufacturing processes and product automation.Experience in handling data acquisition and PLC communication protocols.Experience working with cross-functional teams.Leadership and facilitation skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to work at a tactical level to drive results.Familiarity with iterative, agile, and prototype development practices.Work Environment

This role is primarily remote with occasional travel required to the customer site in Johnson City, New York for kick-off and milestone meetings. The position offers two weeks of paid time off and six holidays. This role has the potential to turn into a long-term position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
