An established and globally recognised IT services company is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join its team in Bergen.

The Role:

The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in managing complex IT projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a technical background-preferably in .NET development-and a strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Lead project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with budgets and schedules.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication.
* Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
* Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Conduct project closeout activities, including lessons learned and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT or software development projects.
* Strong understanding of .NET frameworks, Microsoft tools (Azure, SQL Server, etc.), and application development.
* Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language).
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
* A structured, results-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
* Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.
