Summary You will serve as a Technical Project Manager (Technician) in the Weapon and Sensor Installation Division, Modernization and Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). Responsibilities You will serve as a Technical Project Manager for the Tomahawk Project Office. You will represent PHDs' technical position, influence resource allocation and ensure the Fleet and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Modernization and Installation perspective is factored into decisions and directives. You will lead the engineering and logistics team analyzing and solving complex problems. You will provide technical review and oversight of all products and services relating to the Tomahawk Modernization and Installation Efforts at NSWC PHD. You will provide for the overall leadership for engineering, integration, test and evaluation and assessment of Navy's Surface Ship Combat/ Weapon Systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating engineering project requirements to prepare, justify, and administer budgets, monitor resources and progress with objectives, and resolve technical issues impacting the modernization and installation of ship systems for a warfare program.
