Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings/Smart Power Business, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tImplementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.•\tCreating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.•\tProviding customer support by responding to technical questions and performing electrical calculations for the design institutes and technical consultants. •\tCommunicating details with the target audience in accordance with ABB’s offering and strategy. •\tConducting or organizing appropriate training interventions to educate the target audience on ABB products, systems, services, and offerings. •\tManaging administrative tasks in technical promotion processes and creating reports based on the organization’s needs.
Qualifications for the role\tDiploma or Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.\tMore than 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design, sales support and business development, dealing with consultants/designing parties and assisting in the tendering process (Specification).\tLow Voltage and ELV products background and good knowledge on electrical market.\tStrong relationship or network in M&E consultant and industry knowledge of Data Center , general industry, semi-conductor are preferrable.\tPossesses good negotiation, presentation and communication skills, positive attitude, team player and self-motivated.\tWillingness to travel of 30% .\tFluent in written and spoken English.
