Join us and we can make a difference together. **About This Role** This position is a professional in Technical Publications who works independently, analyzes and monitors complex publications, and collaborates cross-functionally to create and distribute technical publications and develop product manuals and graphics. **Key Responsibilities:** + Works independently to draft and edit moderately complex technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate technical specifications and instructions to various audiences. + Researches and analyzes developments in assigned products and services to determine the need for revisions in previously published technical materials and for the development of new materials. + Maintain documentation change history + Communicate with subject matter experts to ensure literature is clear, concise and accurate + Liaises with product developers, engineers, mechanics and other technical experts, observes production methods, and refers to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals to acquire knowledge need to develop moderately complex technical publications. + Works with engineers and other technical personnel to clarify technical document contents. + Consults with business unit and department leaders to assist with the development of distribution plans for technical publications. + Oversees the maintenance of work records to ensure all files are organized and accurate. + Coaches lower level professionals on technical document development steps. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5+ years of marketing/communications/publication experience or a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of marketing/communications/publication experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Adobe FrameMaker or Adobe InDesign + Able to manage multiple projects at one time + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities + Proven written and verbal communication skills **RSRCAR** **Pay Range:** $61,213 - $107,122 Annually **_Carrier is An Equal_** **_Opportunity/Affirmative_** **_Action Employer.
