The Idaho State Police and State Brand Board are seeking to fill a full-time Technical Records Specialist 2 position as a Livestock Brand Recorder in our Meridian office.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
+ Answering phones and responding to customer requests.
+ Processing new livestock brand applications, transfers and renewals.
+ Maintaining the Livestock Brand Book throughout the year and publishing annually.
+ Livestock brand data entry, record retention and filing.
+ Processing Livestock Dealer License applications and renewals.
+ Completing relative financial transactions and deposits for Livestock Brand recordings and Dealer Licensing.
+ Occasional travel as needed.
+ Other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience:
+ Monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors;
+ Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs;
+ Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues;
+ Dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations;
+ Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system;
+ Composing and proofreading business correspondence.
