JOB OVERVIEW
MartinFed is seeking a high-energy and self-motivating Technical Recruiter to join our growing Human Resources team.
The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants within, but not limited to, the Cyber Security, Advanced IT, Engineering, and Training fields, for both cleared and uncleared positions. This position will include passive and active recruiting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
+ Perform full lifecycle recruiting activities/responsibilities, to include candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, through offer negotiation and closing of candidates.
+ Maintain ApplicantPro ATS with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.
+ Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
+ Collaborate with hiring managers to identify effective sourcing strategies with for each applicable funded and proposal requisition.
+ Utilize proactive search techniques using (ATS, networks of internal & external referrals, Boolean internet searches, social media searches, professional and/or personal networks and recruiting tools (Clearance Jobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and others) to identify active and passive candidates.
+ Participate with the recruiting team and hiring managers to help develop, implement, and execute recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and help build a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates.
+ Develop new strategies for finding hard to find talent and skill sets.
+ Assist in the development of a strategy for recruiting for proposal and business development efforts.
+ Successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a fast-paced environment.
+ Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher or additional years of experience can be substituted for education.
+ At least (3) years of proven success recruiting professionals within technical fields.
+ Proven recruiting expertise and experience in resume writing.
+ Ability and experience to articulate complex requisition requirements along with negotiation and closing skills.
+ Experience managing the full lifecycle recruiting process.
+ Excellent verbal, communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
+ Past Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience.
+ Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience recruiting within the government contracting sector.
+ Previous experience utilizing the ATS ApplicantPro.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
+ General office environment.
+ The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers and books.
+ Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.
+ Some travel may be required.
