As a Technical Regulations and Standards Technical team leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing the global product compliance team in driving compliance efforts for new and existing products. In addition, you will be advising design engineers of the options and impact of design decisions based on the knowledge of the applicable technical and regulatory standards.
 

As a Technical Regulations Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring Technical Regulations & Standards (TRS) compliance for all Bently Nevada products over their lifecycle, including certification to the region/country requirements and the applicable safety standards (international, European, National, and Industrial) or other technical specifications (e.g., internal company standards)Leading the TRS team driving adequate technical competency for current portfolio and future needsSetting the overall technical strategy for TRS, developing, maintaining, and recommending improvements to certification processes and working relationships with agencies, driving improved cycle timesCollaborating with other functional and regional teams to drive product compliance evaluations and develop and maintain regulatory specifications/instructions necessary to execute TRS for product offeringsIdentifying, monitoring, and communicating TRS requirements for prioritized products and regions, capturing and leading execution of emerging regulations/Early Warning NoticesManaging the maintenance and continuous improvement of compliance processes including SAP TRS tracking, order block reviews, product labeling, certification documentation and audits/inspectionsProviding ultimate guidance as required with interpretation of TRS requirements impacting design and certification of productsEnsuring operational excellence across TRS activities including periodic operational report-outs to key stakeholders

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeHave a minimum of 8 years of regulatory and product certification experience (ATEX, UL/CSA, IEC, etc.) in the industrial sector through engineering technical requirements knowledgeHave an extensive background in effectively leading teams

The annual pay scale for this position is between $107,700.00 - $200,000.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
