Fully remote, but local to Johnston, RI (able to get on site for occasional meetings) _Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Release Management: Proven experience in creating necessary release processes that support environment health but do not block productivity in both Production and Non-Production environments. Socialize and champion processes created. Influence as needed. + Collaboration: Collaboration with Release Train Engineers and Infrastructure Environment Owner to strategically ensure smooth and efficient release processes throughout the shared environments- Dev to Prod. + Defect Prioritization: Manage and prioritize defects to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on releases in shared environments at FM. Provide transparency around defects in different environments. + Dependency Management: Understand and help manage dependencies between different teams and components to ensure successful releases. + Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of “just enough” process to support a healthy shared environment suite. + Test Data management: implement the test data management process for the shared test environments (data and users). + Testing:  Understand general test concepts to enable defect prioritization and a better understanding of environment health at all levels. + End-to-end test management: manage e2e testing when required. + Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance release efficiency. **Experience Requirements:** + **Experience with Octopus Deploy** + **Experience with Azure** + Experience: Proven experience in Release Management and/or as a Release Train Engineer in both production and non-production environments. (Preferably both RM and RTE) + Collaboration: Proven experience collaborating with testers and other release managers. + Goal Oriented Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. + Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong meeting leader. + Quick Learner: Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes. + Technical Skills: Ability to apply understanding of software development and testing processes to support environment health. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
