An opportunity has become available in the Products group for a Technical Representative. This is a business-critical role, acting as the subject matter expert supporting the in-hole tools and diamond product lines and providing essential support to our customer and employee base.

Based at the Adelaide facility, the main aim of this role is to test and support the development of new products, assist with the education/training of employees and customers, and provide feedback on product use and implementation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:On-site support for in hole tool and diamond products Provide training and technical support to customers on the use of our In-Hole Tool offeringLiaise with customers and assist with technical issues and other ad hoc service requirementsTroubleshoot and conduct technical investigations as required to support the resolution of any problemsConduct product testing with new and existing customers, to assess and improve product performance.Work with key internal and external stakeholders to develop new business, including, identifying new opportunities and input into new product development.Travel regularly within the Asia Pacific region, including on short notice, in order to fulfil the above responsibilities.
A few other things we’re looking for:Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Diamond DrillingA solid understanding of Drilling products and processes with experience in the mining or drilling industry would be preferred Cert IV in Drilling (Mineral Exploration)Excellent customer service orientationAbility to maintain relationships with key account customers and internal stakeholdersExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenAttention to detail, strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamProficient in MS Office suite.A current driver’s licence.
