ABOUT THE ROLE
Fox News is looking for a Technical Requirements Manager for its Digital Product & Technology team based in New York. You will be reporting to the Director of Technical Requirements Management. As a Technical Requirements Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to define the architecture, implementation, and testing strategy for all projects and initiatives across our digital footprint. You will take product designs and concepts and translate them to technical execution plans and strategies. We’re looking for someone who ideally comes from a highly technical background and can work between engineering leads to craft and communicate technical requirements and direction for execution by our technology teams.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate and breakdown product features and requests into well-scoped development tasksAssist the Project team in prioritization and triaging issues to ensure technical priorities are deliveredWork closely with Product and Engineering to ensure User Stories and Acceptance Criteria are complete, well-articulated and contain verifiable technical requirements for the development and QA teamsGuide the technology teams in planning, architecting and developing scalable and robust technology solutions across the Fox News & Fox Business websites and appsConsult and collaborate with product, editorial and operations teams to create the most effective content delivery systems, tools and applicationsDevelop innovative technological solutions to solve complex product requirementsMaintain awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscape related to design, content, community, user experiences, SEO, and storytelling capabilitiesDevelop and maintain technical documentation on applications, processes and workflowWork on special projects and other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Previous experience working as an engineer or related technical roleDeep experience working across a variety of digital technology platformsKnowledge in CMS tools, Web Development, Mobile & OTT applications, API integrationRobust knowledge of industry trends and new technologiesAbility to translate business needs into technical specifications & requirementsAbility to successfully manage multiple prioritiesSelf-starter when it comes to learning new technologiesExcellent communication skills - both oral and written - with a reputation for building and maintaining relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively and/or interact with the other staff, executives, colleagues and vendorsAbility to remain professional in all situations

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $125,500.00-138,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
