The role Overview We are looking for a Technical Sales who can drive sales and profit growth for our cloud and digital workplace solutions portfolio. You will work collaboratively with our Account Managers to develop and execute account/territory plans that align with our global and local strategies. You will need to provide technical guidance to customers on how to leverage cloud and digital workplace technologies to transform their business and achieve competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities Sales Management Drive services pipeline and ensure service revenue & margin are achieved Customer Engagement Drive strategic conversation with CIO/CTO/CDO to understand the business & IT strategy and offer solutions Provide solution architecture and ensure solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy. Technical Solution Development Create and implement a solution roadmap and select the right infrastructure and technology platform or product based on in-depth knowledge of one and broad knowledge of other technologies and/or alliance product landscape. Conduct assessment and discovery on existing on-premise environment and migration to cloud. Define backup and high availability strategy on cloud transition. Technology and business enablement advocate to advise the best practice methods in how to utilize cloud and data to drive competitive advantage. Internal Collaboration Collaboratively work with Account Managers to develop an overall account/territory plan to maximize opportunities and generate services business with customers. Collaborate with global & regional counterpart to land global solutions and share best practices Work closely with delivery team to ensure successful solution delivery What we need to see from you Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully selling technology services and solutions, especially in cloud and data domains. Strong IT industry business acumen. 3+ years IT selling experience, ideally with experience of Publisher ecosystem. Highly motivated and results oriented. Ability to drive results through remote teams in a fast-paced and matrix organization. Demonstrated experience and expertise in direct sales model. Relevant experience in architecting, designing, and implementing complex IT solutions, especially in cloud and security domains. Hybrid / multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, or other platforms) solutions integration experience. Proven track record of consistently holding or exceeding goals using a consultative/solution selling approach. Working effectively within a virtual team, taking strategic direction from opportunity owners and considering inputs from team members. Proven strong negotiation skills and experience. Business and strategy planning. Organized, analytical. Solid problem solving skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent verbal and written English is mandatory. Industry certification on different specialist solution area including cloud solution or security domain. Job Function Sales
