We are in need of a candidate that can work with tooling suppliers to reduce costs for our customers. These candidates should have tooling experience, great communication skills, and the ability to work remotely. Job Responsibilities: + The Technical Manager will manage tooling launches from start to finish – working with suppliers to meet customer goals and budget. + Work with suppliers in making recommendations on existing jobs to improve cycle time, tool life, or costs. + Set up and track tool tests. + Manage / recommend inventory levels to support plant production. + Hold weekly tooling meetings and publish minutes. + Work with plant engineers / employees on any tooling issues that are identified and come up with solutions to correct.
