Job Description

This dynamic position will be a part of the Product & Partnership team within Corporate Payment Systems and will focus on technical product sales support for U.S. Bank’s corporate payment technology. This is a customer-facing role, and the candidate must be comfortable and confident working with Product leadership and be able to work effectively in a collaborative role with CPS Sales, Relationship Management and business partners. The candidate must possess a blend of business and technical savvy; have a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

During prospect and existing client meetings, the candidate will be called on to articulate the product value proposition, technical vision, and present product demonstrations. The Technical Sales Consultant will collaborate with many areas within Corporate Payment Systems including Implementation, Client Services, Marketing, and Partnerships to ensure flawless integration of clients onto our payment solutions.

Responsibilities

Support the sales and relationship management teams as an expert on the technical and integration aspects of U.S. Bank corporate payment solutionsArticulate the technical vision including current and future product effortsCreate and maintain sales documentation on prospect scope and technical requirements to provide to implementation teams Work with the implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to client setup, staying engaged with the client and internal implementation teams until go-liveBe the liaison between partnership team and product teams to provide necessary feedback on future roadmap itemsMaintain sales leads and sales metrics relevant to the new product and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to managementWork with sales teams and leadership on identifying market opportunities and building a sales strategy to go after them Act as point person and subject matter expert for CPS Product & Partnership team on new product initiatives, ensuring that the team is prepared to support partner needsRespond to technical issues raised by prospects and customers, ensuring that issues are routed to the appropriate teams for resolution

Basic Qualifications

Technical capability and proven depth of knowledge in modern enterprise software technologiesFundamental understanding of and experience with API setup, implementation, and management6+ years of experience in implementing enterprise software products4+ years of Sales or Relationship Management experienceAbility to perform data analysisStrong interpersonal & communication skills – written, verbal, and presentationAbility to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

2+ year(s) of Corporate Card experienceFour-year degreeExperience in Payments industry a plus

Location

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.​

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $124,355.00 - $146,300.00 - $160,930.00
