The Technical Sales Engineer plays a critical role in delivering engineering solutions tailored to customer needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong sales acuity to ensure the right products are provided, the solutions are tailored, and the project is executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide customer service at highest standards, responding to customer’s commercial and technical questions or delegating other type queries to the right owner within the organization Identify customer needs, understand medium complexity technical requirements, liaising with customers, sales teams, factories and other departments (as needed) and determine best solution to be offered Size and configure the products according to the technical and commercial requirements such as specifications, application fit, documentation, testing requirements, target lead-time and budget Create a quote in Oracle/ My Emerson assist with technical recommendations and submit the proposal to customers on time, technically and commercially accurate by offering the best solution Select the appropriate technical documentation Make sure Frame Agreements and Price Agreements are followed Specify a delivery time for the selected products Verify that purchase orders are in accordance with the offered technical proposal and commercial terms. Resolve any technical-related issues that may occur with the customer Ensure full compliance with legal and Company requirements with regards to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow necessary procedures Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products and applications

You have excellent attention to detail and are committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. You are proactive, adaptable, and skilled at managing customer relationships while resolving challenges to meet both technical and commercial goals. You are also comfortable working in an international environment, with proficiency in English and Italian at a B2 level.
For This Role, You Will Need:
A degree in a technical field (University or College). A few years of relevant experience in engineering or similar technical positions. Relevant knowledge of the process industry. Proficiency in English and Italian. Strong PC skills and proficiency in using Oracle. Good understanding of technical documentation and the ability to create quotes and proposals that meet customer and company standards.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience in dealing with medium-complexity technical inquiries and customer solutions. Strong understanding of commercial and technical requirements in the process industry. Previous exposure to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business standards.
