We are currently looking to find a **Technical Sales** **Manager – Solar Energy for** **the** **Southern European** **region** to join our diverse team. **Position Summary** The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for the growth and expansion of a mix of direct and indirect sales within the defined territory/region. In this role, you will promote OTT HydroMet product lines in the field of solar energy to core customers and establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts with meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume. **This** **Technical Sales** **Manager position will cover** **the** **Southern European** **region** **.** **Essential duties and Responsibilities:** + Actively seeks and develops new business opportunities with direct and indirect channels through a variety of sales activities and tactics such as consultive selling, funnel management and share of wallet cross/up selling. + Demonstrates time & territory balance by developing and executing a plan to maximize time in the field with customers and prospects. + Stay on top of industry trends through collaboration with peers, industry publications, and industry conference attendance. + Negotiates and executes contracts and customer-specific project initiatives through various internal departments including Legal, Finance, Sales, Service and Customer Support. + Uses metrics, KPI, and forecasting to self-manage productivity and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume. + Develops, nurtures, and understands health of customer opportunity funnel and openly works with leadership and sales operations to ensure best results. **Qualifications:** + 5+ years of sales/commercial experience in industrial B2B environment, solar energy experience is a plus. + BA or BSc degreein a management or science-related field such as Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent + B2level language skills in English and Italian required, other language skills are a plus + Demonstrated relational and presentation skills, including ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds. + Must be able to demonstrateproficiency in the use of a CRM tool for funnel management and forecasting + Ability to travel ~50% of the time within the South-EU region with a valid driver's license OTT HydroMet is proud to part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
