We are looking for an exceptional individual to drive the development and execution of Pharma Analytics Business in the North Carolina and North America region.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for the development and expansion of Rapid Molecular Methods in the Biopharma manufacturing environment. You will work closely with key opinion leaders for Analytics, collaborating with global Market Development, Product Management, Account Management colleagues, and Field Application Scientist teams to successfully implement our world-class solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and complete business objectives to promote the adoption of Rapid Molecular Methods in Development, Production, and Quality Control.Employ distinct sales approaches when engaging with technical, manufacturing, and commercial partners at all levels of the organization.Manage key accounts within the region, including those spanning other global geographies.Collaborate with the Business Manager to build and implement a market development plan.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve or exceed targets.Engage with key influencers and regulatory departments to drive business using a Top-Down approach.Provide accurate forecasting, lost order reporting, and competitive information on a regular basis.Optimize the utilization of resources to increase business growth.Coordinate with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing, and finance.People SpecificationDegree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience.3-5 years of previous experience in a Sales position, preferably with domain knowledge from the BioPharma/Pharma Industry.Knowledge of Q-PCR and DNA Sequencing technology platforms desired.Highly organized individual with a proven record of achieving business objectives.Motivated individual who can effectively collaborate with a diverse pan-European team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Willingness to travel extensively within the region.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we value diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$111,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
