Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will plan, present and help to manage new and current ABB Analytics opportunities for our Continuous Gas Analyzer & CEMS business in the US. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, experienced in CGA and CEMS, well-spoken and driven to succeed in meeting and exceeding our customer’s needs. The work model for the role is remote.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the Houston, TX area. You will be mainly accountable for:•Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.•Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleAssociates Degree in a technology related field with combined 5 years’ experience in instrumentation as either a customer, selling, technician or project manager.Solid understanding of Analytics including but not limited to GC’s, FTIR, Tuneable Diode Lasers, CGA and CWA. Working knowledge of instrumentation is also an asset.Leverage any existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABBAbility to design solutions particular to the customer’s needs while driving ABB products into the solution.Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office). Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
