Job Description

Title: Technical Sales Specialist Benelux and NordicsReporting to: Head of Sales, EMEAContract: PermanentActivity: Full-time (100%)Location: This is a remote role with candidates based in Benelux or Nordics countries

We are looking for a 'Technical Sales Specialist Benelux and Nordics’ to join the Lunaphore EMEA Sales team, with a primary focus on selling high-end spatial biology capital equipment, as well as associated services, consumables, software, and accessories, to academia, biopharma, biotech, and contract research organizations to support discovery, translational and clinical research programs.

The role involves supporting our customers in sales activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland. It requires a solid technical foundation with knowledge of immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, spatial biology, or other tissue biomarker analysis applications, an excellent business acumen, a strong experience in building and managing complex sales pipeline, and managing customer accounts. We seek a hard-working, determined individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about taking Lunaphore to the next level.

Key responsibilities

Achieve assigned territory sales quotasDevelop and execute regional, territory, and account-specific sales strategiesDrive capital equipment sales cycle from initial engagement to closingBuild long-term relationships with customers to drive sales objectives and exceed targetsEngage with and qualify new leads to generate new sales opportunitiesAttend conferences, events, and seminars and present key products and applicationsDevelop a strong technical knowledge of Lunaphore product portfolio and the corresponding spatial biology landscape, and be able to deliver meaningful presentations and insights to scientists working across a wide range of applications, and research stagesWork closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, Marketing…) to provide world-class customer satisfactionIdentify and share relevant market feedbackMaintain an accurate sales forecast, track, and report sales activities in CRMThis position includes frequent traveling to customer sites (50-70%) and occasional traveling to company headquarter

Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine, or similar background3+ years’ experience in selling high-end life sciences research platformsExperience selling to academia and biopharma segments, across a wide range of applications including immuno-oncology/neurosciences/immunologyPrevious experience in Spatial Biology industry is a strong plusKnowledge of in-situ techniques including immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, spatial transcriptomics, and similar tissue-based assays is a strong plusStrong communication and presentation skillsEntrepreneurial mindset, resilience, long-term visionAutonomous, proactive, and results-driven team playerProficient in English; proficiency in Dutch, Swedish or Danish is a strong plus.A clean full driving license is a strong plus
