Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Solution Director to lead advanced-node RET/OPC solution development and deployments with our Tier 1 customers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Siemens EDA Calibre Manufacturing Portfolio Unit, this role will be a key member of the senior management team within the Calibre Manufacturing Portfolio Unit.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop deep insights into computational lithography solutions, including EUV, Inverse Lithography Techniques, Curvilinear OPC, and Machine Learning, tailored for leading-node customers.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of commercial players and trends within the computational lithography market.Collaborate with the R&D team to design, develop, and execute state-of-the-art computational lithography solutions for DUV and EUV technologies, addressing complex business challenges.Recommend methodologies, tools, technologies, and processes to the R&D team to ensure the competitiveness of the product platform.Translate industry and customer requirements into actionable insights for the R&D team, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of functionalities and capabilities.Lead cross-functional teams, including Product Engineers (PEs) and Application Engineers (AEs), to develop and deploy solutions for benchmark wins and troubleshoot problems efficiently.Partner with regional application leaders to drive strategic wins in engagements with leading IC manufacturers.Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following education, experience, and skills:
A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of experience in Computational Lithography, with expertise gained from roles at EDA suppliers or within customer technology development teams.10+ years of hands-on experience in DUV and EUV OPC, Modeling, Mask Synthesis, Inverse Lithography, etc.In-depth knowledge of IC manufacturing processes, with direct experience working at leading IC manufacturing companies.Strong understanding of the foundry ecosystem and hands-on experience with yield ramp-up processes for leading-node technologies.5+ years of proven experience managing cross-functional teams (R&D, Product, and Applications) with strong leadership and hands-on management skills.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed global organization and fast-paced team environments.Proven success in engaging customers and internal stakeholders to promote and deploy new technologies, processes, and system solutions.A track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $177,000 to $318,600 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
