The Chenega Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is seeking an experienced and talented **Technical Solutions Architect** to join our team and support our business development, capture, and proposal efforts. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Business Development, the Technical Solutions Architect (SA) plays a critical role in shaping winning capture strategies and proposals by designing and presenting complex technical solutions that address specific customer needs and challenges. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate with business development, sales, and capture teams to understand customer requirements and capture strategies including the business solutions architect. + Analyze RFPs (Request for Proposals), SOWs (Statements of Work), and RFIs (Request for Information) to identify technical requirements and constraints. + Develop innovative and competitive technical solutions that address customer pain points and differentiate us from competitors. + Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and engineers to design and architect solutions that align with our capabilities/offerings while addressing customer requirements and needs. + Solutions may require hardware, software, networking, cloud architectures, communications, cyber, services or other unique government-specified engineering knowledge. + Solution development may extend beyond technical and address or align with other requirements of the RFP, including Management, Staffing/BOE, Past Performance, Teaming, and Pricing. + Support proposal development by translating the solution into proposal material and providing technical input, clarifications, and responses to customer questions. + Create detailed technical proposal content, including system architectures, diagrams, and implementation plans. Content may include total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements; development of system element architecture and design interface definitions; and system implementation approaches and operational concepts. + Participate in color team reviews (e.g., Pink Team, Red Team) to refine and improve proposal content. + Collaborate with pricing and finance teams to ensure technical solutions align with cost estimates. + Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to our solutions. + Help define client requirements for solutions including services, products, technologies, and capabilities which encompass both IT and non-IT related engineering and scientific disciplines. + Development of models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. + Providing technical direction related to the implementation of system architecture. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline. + Bachelor’s degree may be considered with additional years of relevant experience or additional relevant education/certifications, particular strengths in low code development and systems engineering, data and business systems analytics. + 5+ years of solution development or related experience as a solution architect with a federal government contractor. + Previous operations experience as president, COO or equivalent is desired with P&L experience particularly in an ANC preferred. + Experience working in both Large Business, Small Business and 8(a) Business Concerns. + Must have participated in, authored, and preferably led as a Solution Architect as part of a capture/proposal team, to include demonstrated experience leading the development of winning solutions for new and re-compete business pursuits, capture activities and proposal efforts ranging from $40M+ in total value. Particular emphasis on a broad range of experience across Government agencies and departments. + Must have experience working front-end solutioning with clients to include assessing needs from published requirements (SOW, SOO, PWS, other Draft material) or from direct meetings with the customer. + Secret clearance eligible required. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Ability to travel up to 25% + Ideal candidate will have a technical background and have experience working as a lead Solutions Architect on large U.S. Federal/Civil Government captures. + Must have a detailed nature and be enthusiastic about staying current with the latest technologies, capabilities, and tools. + Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team environment. + Must have strong working knowledge and mastery of current technologies and capabilities employed in the Federal Government space, including, and not limited to, ITSM, Cloud, Cyber, Data Analytics/Management, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and various Software Development methodologies spanning Agile to Waterfall and hybrids thereof. Industry certifications in any of these technologies is a plus. + Must possess effective communication and relationship development skills, as well as experience determining key client pain points and needs, etc. + Demonstrated professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups, including business development, proposal, recruiting, acquisition, contracts, and program management. + Must be able to convey highly technical subject matter to a non-technical audience and be comfortable presenting to C-level leadership as needed. **How you’ll grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
