What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) is seeking a talented Technical Solutions Architect with expertise in large-scale SD-WAN and SD-Branch design, and pre-sales activities. As a member of our Campus and Branch Networks team, within WWT's Global Solutions and Architecture organization, you will play a pivotal role in go-to-market (GTM) collateral development, customer engagement, and OEM technical partner management.
In this role, you will be responsible for GTM and industry thought leadership content development, as well as developing and leading technical workshops across customers and internal teams on all areas of SD-WAN and SD-Branch architectures, management platforms, OEM licensing, and overall solution value. Additionally, the TSA acts as an interface to our OEM’s and the industry to understand existing and emerging solutions. With this knowledge, they will build information into sales playbooks, solution comparisons and other actionable resources for our sales and technical teams to consume. The primary OEM focus will be on Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba/Silverpeak, Versa, and Fortinet. Other OEM’s of interest include Palo Alto, Juniper and Arista.
A significant aspect of the role is related to creating and maintaining relevant technical and enablement content to showcase thought leadership, OEM strategy, and solution value to internal and external teams. You will be expected to work cross-functionally across diverse teams to create complex multi-domain solutions and public perspectives. You will work with the relevant groups at WWT and OEMs to ensure we are ready to support those solutions in customer accounts.
Finally, the role also collaborates with marketing and other teams to drive market data for the relevant technologies, with the goal of understanding industry trends and their overall impact on WWT and our customers' businesses.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Consultation: Provide pre-sales technical leadership to customers and internal teams, offering guidance on all aspects of SD-WAN, SD-Branch and SASE/SSE architectures. Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and collaborating with strategic customers to drive growth in the WWT Campus and Branch practice. Briefings, Workshops, and Demonstrations: Develop and deliver engaging briefings, workshops, and demonstrations focused on SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE/SSE integrations. Utilize WWT's Advanced Technology Center, PowerPoint, WWT.com, and collaborative video/media tools to showcase products, solutions, and thought leadership. Develop OEM solution market scans to compare and contrast industry leading solutions in the SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SSE/SASE domains. Interface with Manufacturers and Channel Partners: Serve as the primary liaison between WWT and manufacturer's product management, channel technical, and sales roles. Gain in-depth knowledge of their products and integrate relevant information into playbooks and actionable data for account teams and customers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse sales, technical and services teams to create complex multi-domain solutions. Collaborate with relevant groups at WWT to ensure readiness to support solutions in the marketplace and during customer OEM evaluations. Content Development and Collaboration: Among the most significant skillsets is the ability to create compelling technical and pre-sales materials to convey the WWT perspectives to the world. This will require collaboration with marketing and other teams to develop compelling content for WWT.com, WWT Research, and customer presentations. Continual contributions to thought leadership and effectively integrating that into WWT's offerings will contribute to your success in this role.
