Our Strategic Product Group Process Solution is responsible to drive the global growth of our automated and robotic comparators as well as the service products of such within our Global Business Area Laboratory Weighing.In the context of our business development strategies, we are looking for a customer oriented and pro-active Technical Specialist 100% (all genders).From day one, you will be part of our international team and you will be involved in the realization of engineering products and support the global growth of its service product sales.
In this role, your responsibilities would include: You produce and assemble "Engineer to order" solutions, including automated and robotic comparators.You execute installations and provide services, such as preventive maintenance and repairs worldwide.You plan and execute Service Marketing activities for comparator service products.You deliver education and training to end customers, the sales force, and field technicians on metrological equipment.You strive to understand customer needs and requirements. You serve as the contact point for all technical and quality-related issues concerning SPG Metrology, collecting and sorting incoming questions and demands, and determining the necessary follow-up actionsYou support the market introduction of new products.What You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role:You hold a technical apprenticeship with a background in Mechanical and/or Electronics Engineering, complemented by additional continuous education (e.g., TS/FH, etc.).You have a minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in an international environment, ideally within a global matrix organization.You possess a strong service and selling mindset, along with a customer service-oriented attitude.You demonstrate a structured, accurate, efficient, proactive, and independent working style.You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.You exhibit very good oral and written communication skills in English, with basic knowledge of German being essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.You are able and willing to travel up to 20-30%.Our Offer to YouWe are offering: Where applicable, flexible working hours, a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunities40h week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off (i.e., in between bank holidays)Free parking spaces and direct access to public transport from our facilitiesHealthy menus cooked onsite and special prices for employees at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurantA range of additional attractive benefits such as discounts for sport clubs and other businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
