Ensures all activities conducted to comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. **Accountabilities** + Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. + Multi-tasking and prioritizing work to meet deadlines in a large complex environment with over 3000 servers + You will work on automation using Ansible and scripting capabilities to complete day to day UNIX tasks + Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporate into in day-to-day activities and decisions. + Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. + Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. **Dimensions** + Number of employees - team size 22 + Countries support Global environment + Financial dimensions (e.g., capital budget, annual project cost, operating budget, etc.) + Work on projects as per the assignments and supporting the environment consisting of over 3000 systems + Regulatory bodies and special requirements. **Education / Experience / Other Information** + You thrive on multi-tasking and prioritizing work to meet deadlines in a large complex environment with over 3000 servers + You get to work on Solaris, Red Hat Linux operating systems running on Oracle Sparc and x86 HW products, virtual hosts including LDoms, VMware, Veritas Clustering/Storage Foundation/ RedHat clustering, Solaris ZFS and EMC/Hitachi SAN storage products. + You have at least 7+ years of hands-on technical working experience with the system administration, installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Solaris (versions 10, 11.3, 11.4) and Red Hat Linux (versions 7, 8, and 9) Operating Systems. + You have at least 5+ of hands-on technical working experience with the configuration, administration, builds and troubleshooting of Veritas/Symantec Storage Foundation (VSF) & Veritas/Symantec Cluster Services. + You have at least 5+ of hands-on technical working experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Solaris Zones & Solaris Logical Domains (LDoms). + You can demonstrate a very good technical working knowledge of SAN and Virtualization platforms/technologies. + You will work on automation using Ansible and scripting capabilities to complete day to day UNIX tasks + B2 level of English. **Working Conditions** When required, non-standard office working hours for scheduled implementations or while on rotational 24x7 on-call support. \#LI-Hybrid Location(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota ScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
