**NTT Data Greece** team is looking for a **Technical Subject Matter Expert** in Athens to work with our clients in the **European public sector.**
Technical Subject Matter Expert ensures that **technical solutions** are aligned with **business goals, industry standards, and best practices** and provides **technical expertise and guidance** during the transition. Assists in the **design and implementation** of new or changed services and collaborates with other teams to address **technical challenges** .
**Your role:**
+ Serve as the go-to expert for a specific technology or domain.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance during project planning, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
+ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical feasibility and quality.
+ Review and validate technical designs, configurations, and documentation.
+ Support incident and problem resolution for complex technical issues.
+ Contribute to the development of standards, procedures, and knowledge bases.
+ Deliver technical training, mentoring, and workshops to internal teams or clients.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

**Your profile:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
+ 8+ years of hands-on experience in the relevant technical domain.

+ _Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)_
+ Recognized certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Cisco, VMware, ITIL, TOGAF).
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
+ Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
+ Fluency in English (B2 level minimum); knowledge of another European language is a plus.
+ EU citizenship is required.
*This role may require flexibility, including shift-based work and on-call responsibilities, depending on operational needs.
