An industry-leading shipping company is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee the operations of its offshore and tanker fleet in Nigeria. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a key regional hub, ensuring technical excellence and compliance across the fleet.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the technical performance, maintenance, and efficiency of offshore and tanker vessels. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular vessel inspections and follow up on maintenance, dry-docking, and repair schedules. Work closely with vessel crews and onshore teams to maintain operational reliability. Manage budgets, procurement, and cost control for technical operations. Support incident investigations, audits, and classification society requirements.   
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience working with both tanker and offshore fleets. At least 3 years' experience ashore in a similar technical management role. Previous experience working in Nigeria is essential. Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and maintenance strategies. Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and crew. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
