Job Description

Danfoss is currently hiring for a Technical Support Engineer. The Technical Support Engineer position in Danfoss Drives (DPD) supports our local Romanian customers and activities of Romanian sales team in various verticals and applications on Romanian market.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.

 

Providing best in class technical support of our Danfoss Drives products, solutions, and service to our customers, partners mainly by phone and digital channels, Occasional site and customer visits to support customer applications as well as the internal sales team technically, Conducting internal and external technical and products presentations to increase knowledge of products and applications, Providing support to local sales team and proactively participating in the teamwork, Preparing technical solutions, quotations in close cooperation with sales team, Maintaining customer data and interactions a CRM system, Maintaining local language technical documentation, Supporting local marketing activities, Participating in the work of East Europe Region technical support team. Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

 

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering required, Good written and oral communications skills, customer-oriented mindset, and good problem-solving skills, Team player attitude and proactive, goal-oriented personality, Proficient in MS Office applications, like Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Native in Romanian language and good English both in oral and written, Ability to occasionally travel (approximately 5-10% travel required).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Technical knowledge of Variable Speed Drive and motor technology, Technical knowledge of Power Electronics, power conversion, Relevant experience in similar position and/or applications. Employee Benefits
